Robin Hood & the Babes in the Wood
The Stage Door
Written and Directed by David Crewe
Produced by Kim Bailey
The first production of The Stage Door theatre company was a pantomime. Robin Hood and the Babes in the wood bosted a huge cast and crew of around 70 people. Some were newbies, and some were seasoned actors and production people, and we all had a lot of fun.
The goal of this show was to get the community involved in pantomime as either performers or audience members. Striving to create an energetic and fun environment rehearsal was relaxed and full of laughter.
The show required some technical elements in the set with disappearing beds and portraits that moved.
